Fix - You cannot install this app because another user has already installed an incompatible version...

+++++++++++++++++++
++The Battle of Kindle++
+++++++++++++++++++

I was trying to add some .mobi files on my Galaxy On 7 Prime Android smartphone to read them on the Kindle(ebook reader) app but suddenly it got crahsed. I lost the Kindle app. OMG !!

Smartly, I tried to reinstall again from Google Play store but it was throwing below error. I tried multiple times with multiple reboots of device but same error.

"You Cannot Install this app because another user has already installed an incompatible version on this device."

But I got my Iron Man to rescue me from this issue. He is "ABD"...No..No..he is not cricketer. Sorry for typo.He is ADB(Android Debug Bridge). With the help of below command line from my Windows laptop, I successfully removed the Kindle. I rebooted the phone and tried to reinstall the Kindle.

BOOM!! It worked. I got my Kindle back on my smartphone. ADB the hero.

What you need to perform this fix:

1) Hardware
a> Windows 7 or 10 OS laptop/desktop
b> USB cable

2) Software:
a>ADB installed on Windows laptop
3) Enable Debug Setting on Android Smartphone and allowed it while plugin the device to Windows laptop/desktop

4) Command to remove the Kindle:

adb shell pm uninstall com.amazon.kindle

Marshmallow Low Volume issue fixed !!

Problem: You get Android Marshmallow OS upgradation notification in your Android mobile phone. Feel Happy !! and you quickly upgrade your existing Lollipop OS to Marshmallow OS.

Download done, Installation done. You reboot the mobile phone and after reboot, you check all settings and files. All are intact and new added feature that you can see and use except one DISASTER !!..What?? Yes. You open your OS build music player or player like Musixmatch or VLC media player and listen your favorite song. You feel that the OS up gradation has damaged your EARS !!...OMG !!...No....Wait !! Cool !!...Thats not true. Your ears are fine. Reality is Marshmallow has changed the audio settings in such a way in some phones,it causes audio level to minimum that you can't hear the songs that way you used to listen earlier before upgradation. You become smart and you maximize the volume but still you can't hear that loud sound that you  used to hear below 50% volume range.

Now what to do ?? There are many solutions out there in the Web but those not might work in your case. If you cant root your device (worrying the license issue), you are in deep trouble. But...just relaxed. I too faced this issue and tried all those so called "fixes" in my un rooted Samsung Galaxy J7 (2015 edition) device and I fixed the issue myself and that fix is...

Solution: You may think that I am joking but let me tell you that by installing POWERAMP Media Player, the problem of low volume while playing music was gone.

You need to install the Poweramp music player. After that go to the Equalizer and increase the value of 'PREAMP' to maximum. Adjust the EQ as per your hearing capacity. Thats it. Now listen your favorite songs in Poweramp and you will get more than what you were getting during Lollipop phase.

You Me and Rinzen !!

The date 22nd April 2016 we(me and my wife Menuka) always remembered in our life when we blessed with baby girl. It was a happiest moment in our married life.

I was waiting outside the OT in hospital and doctor came and informed me that we were blessed with baby girl. It was one of  happiest moment in my life. After sometime, I was allowed to touch my baby for some second(then she was shifted to Nursery by hospital nurses) . When I hold my baby in my hand, it was an amazing experience and was proud to become a happy father.

I was with my wife and baby for 6 days in hospital(Medica North Bengal Clinic,Pradhan Nagar,Siliguri) to look after wife and baby. Since then ,days passed and now, our baby turned into three months and we are lucky to have such a wonderful and cute baby girl.

Earlier I was thinking to give desi name to our baby, later my wife suggested to give 'Tamang' name and we finally selected 'Rinzen' (meaning 'the holder of intellect') and same was agreed by Lama(Priest in Buddhism).

Since last 3 months, my wife is taking care of her(wife is in official leave) and I went home to see my wife and baby twice in a month and spent memorable days with them. I am really thankful to God for blessing beautiful baby and thankful to my wife who is taking care Rinzen and giving mother's love, comfort, protection and support.

Here are couple of unforgettable moments....You(Wife)...Me(Myself) and Rinzen(My daughter).

Learning Windows Powershell(PS)

New technology always excited me. I am very curious to know different kind of technologies and if those technologies fall in domain of Information Technology, I fell WoW!!!!.
Currently I am learning Microsoft's shell scripting language called Powershell. Due to demand in my company,which is a Fortune 500 company, I am getting opportunity to apply this in my work environment. I am following Don Jones who is a MVP(Microsoft Valuable Professional) in Powershell. He is one of talent tech guy in the world of Microsoft technology.

Automation is always a demand in IT industry.Windows administrators always like to automate tasks as much as possible to save time. This make them LAZY :) too as with a single click, a complicated task get completed within few seconds. I am soon going to join those folks who love automation in their IT environment.
